Day 01
Arrival in Jabalpur
Arrive at Jabalpur railway station or airport and check in to your hotel. Then see Madan Mahal Fort, Balancing Rock, the Bhedaghat Marble Rocks (boat ride), Dhuandhar Falls and Chausath Yogini Temple. In the evening, watch the Narmada aarti at Gwarighat. Night stay in Jabalpur.
Day 02
Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh (about 195 km / 4 to 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park and check in to your resort. Relax in the evening in the quiet forest area. Night stay in Bandhavgarh.
Day 03
Jungle Safari in Bandhavgarh National Park
Go on an early morning jeep safari in Bandhavgarh. A guide comes with you, and with luck you may see a tiger. Rest at the resort, then take a short nature walk in the evening. Night stay in Bandhavgarh.
Day 04
Bandhavgarh to Khajuraho (about 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho and check in to your hotel. In the evening, watch the Light and Sound Show at the temples. Night stay in Khajuraho.
Day 05
Khajuraho to Orchha (about 170 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, see the famous Western and Eastern Group temples of Khajuraho. Then drive to Orchha and check in to your hotel. Night stay in Orchha.
Day 06
Orchha to Gwalior (about 120 km / 3 hrs)
In the morning, see Ram Raja Temple, Orchha Fort, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Phool Bagh and the chhatris on the Betwa River. Then drive to Gwalior and check in. Night stay in Gwalior.
Day 07
Gwalior Sightseeing
After breakfast, see Gwalior Fort, Teli ka Mandir, Gujari Mahal, Suraj Kund and Jai Vilas Palace with its Scindia Museum. Night stay in Gwalior.
Day 08
Departure from Gwalior
After breakfast, check out and go to Gwalior railway station or airport for your trip home.
