Where is Kanha National Park Situated?
Kanha National Park, one of India’s most renowned wildlife sanctuaries, is located in the heart of Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1955, it is part of the Kanha Tiger Reserve and spans approximately 940 square kilometers (363 square miles). The park is famous for its breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and conservation efforts, particularly for the Bengal tiger and the barasingha (swamp deer).

Kanha National Park is nestled in the Maikal Hills of the Satpura Range, which is characterized by rolling hills, dense forests, and picturesque meadows. The park is situated in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh, approximately 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Jabalpur and about 250 kilometers (155 miles) from Nagpur.
