How to Reach Pachmarhi from Kolhapur
No train goes straight from Kolhapur to Pipariya every day. The easiest plan is simple. Take the Koyna Express to Kalyan. Then take the Kolkata Mail the same night. It reaches Pipariya the next morning. On Tuesdays, you can also take a train to Itarsi.

Best Train Plan
Take the Koyna Express at 8:25 am to Kalyan. Then take the Kolkata Mail at 11:15 pm from Kalyan. You wait about 4 hours at Kalyan. You reach Pipariya at 10:46 am the next day. This timing is perfect for Day 1.
By Air
There are few flights from Kolhapur. You can fly from Pune or Mumbai to Bhopal. Then take a train to Pipariya. But the train through Kalyan is easier.
By Road
By car, it takes two days with a night stop on the way. The train is more comfortable.

Our driver waits for you at Pipariya station. Pachmarhi is about 50 km away, on a hill road with many turns. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours. With the Kolkata Mail, you reach Pipariya before 11 am. So Day 1 starts with an easy afternoon.

Day 1: Reach Pipariya in the Morning
Arrival + Transfer- The Kolkata Mail brings you to Pipariya at about 10:45 am.

Day 2: Forest Trip by Gypsy
Gypsy sightseeing- After breakfast, your own Gypsy and guide pick you up.
- Entry fees and the permit are paid.
- See Pandav Caves, the museum and Bee Falls.
- Then see Bhavya Drishya, Asan Drishya, Eco Point and Reechhgarh.
- End the day with the sunset at Dhupgarh.

Day 3: Temple Tour and Chauragarh
Trek + Gypsy temple tour- Leave early in your Gypsy for the temple tour.
- Climb about 1,300 steps to Chauragarh.
- Then see Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev and Jata Shankar.
