Summers in Solapur are very hot. Pachmarhi is high up in the hills, so it stays much cooler. It has shady forests, cold waterfalls and nice evenings. It is a great short holiday, and you don't need a flight.
Pachmarhi is the only hill station in Madhya Pradesh. It is part of the Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve. On some days, a train goes straight from Solapur to Pipariya. On other days, take the Karnataka Express to Itarsi. We do the pickup, hotel and sightseeing.

How to Reach Pachmarhi from Solapur
You have two choices from Solapur. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, take a direct train to Pipariya. On other days, take the Karnataka Express to Itarsi. Then change to a train for Pipariya. Itarsi is about 68 km from Pipariya.

By Air
There are very few flights from Solapur. You can fly from Pune or Hyderabad to Bhopal. Then take a train to Pipariya. But the train from Solapur is easier.
By Road
By car, it takes two long days. The train is more relaxing.
Pickup & Drop at Pipariya
Our driver waits for you at Pipariya station. Pachmarhi is about 50 km away, on a hill road with many turns. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours. The direct trains reach Pipariya at about 9 pm. So on Day 1, you only drive up and check in. Send us your train details, and we will plan around them.

Day 1: Reach in the Evening
Arrival + Transfer- Reach Pipariya in the evening by the direct train.
- If you came by the Karnataka Express, come from Itarsi.
- Our driver takes you up the hill to Pachmarhi.
- Check in, have dinner and rest.

Day 2: Best of Pachmarhi by Gypsy
Gypsy sightseeing- After breakfast, your own Gypsy and guide take you around.
- Entry fees and the permit are paid.
- See Pandav Caves, the museum and Bee Falls.
- Then see Bhavya Drishya, Asan Drishya, Eco Point and Reechhgarh.
- Watch the sunset at Dhupgarh.
- Kids love the waterfall and the open Gypsy ride.

Day 3: Temples, Caves and Chauragarh
Trek + Gypsy temple tour- Your Gypsy picks you up early.
- Climb about 1,300 steps to Chauragarh temple, or wait at the bottom if you like.
- Then see Bada Mahadev, Gupt Mahadev and Jata Shankar.
- Jata Shankar is a cave temple in a cool valley.
- The afternoon is free to rest or shop.

Day 4: Handi Khoh and Going Home
Sightseeing + Drop- Check out after breakfast.
