Trivandrum has beaches and backwaters. Pachmarhi is very different. It has rocky hills, thick forests, deep valleys and very old caves. The air is cool and dry, not hot and sticky.
Pachmarhi is the only hill station in Madhya Pradesh. It is part of the Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve. It is quieter than Ooty or Munnar. It is a great way to see a new part of India. We take care of everything from Pipariya station.

How to Reach Pachmarhi from Trivandrum
No train goes straight from Trivandrum to Pipariya. So take a train to Itarsi first. Itarsi is about 68 km from Pipariya. Many trains go from Itarsi to Pipariya every day. Most take 1 to 2 hours.

By Air
You can fly from Trivandrum to Bhopal. Most flights have one stop. From Bhopal, take a train to Pipariya. This way you can reach in less than a day.
By Road
Going by car is not a good idea. Pachmarhi is about 2,000 km away.
Pickup & Drop at Pipariya
Our driver waits for you at Pipariya station. Pachmarhi is about 50 km away, on a hill road with many turns. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours. The Kerala Express reaches Itarsi at about 2 am. Take an early morning train to Pipariya. Tell us the time, and our driver will be ready.
Pachmarhi Tour Itinerary (3 Nights 4 Days)
Day 1: Itarsi to Pipariya, Then Pachmarhi
Arrival + Transfer- Get off at Itarsi and take a short train to Pipariya.
- Our driver meets you there.
- He drives you about 50 km up the hill to Pachmarhi.
- Check in and rest after the long trip.
- In the evening, walk around Pachmarhi Lake, Christ Church and the market.

Day 2: Caves, Waterfalls and Sunset
Gypsy sightseeing- After breakfast, your Gypsy and guide pick you up.
- Entry fees and the permit are paid.
- See Pandav Caves, the museum and Bee Falls.
- Then see the viewpoints: Bhavya Drishya, Asan Drishya, Eco Point and Reechhgarh.
- Watch the sunset from Dhupgarh, the highest point in Madhya Pradesh.

Day 3: Temples and Chauragarh Climb
Trek + Gypsy temple tour- Leave early by Gypsy.
- Climb about 1,300 steps to Chauragarh temple.
- From the top, you can see the hills all around.
- Come down and see Bada Mahadev and Gupt Mahadev, a small cave temple.
- End at Jata Shankar, a cave temple in a cool, shady valley.

Day 4: Viewpoints and Going Home
Sightseeing + Drop- Check out after breakfast.
- See Handi Khoh, Priyadarshini Point, Green Valley and Rajendra Giri.
- Then we drop you at Pipariya.
- Take your train to Itarsi and go home from there.

Best Time to Visit Pachmarhi from Trivandrum
- October to February is the best time. Days are cool and the views are clear.
- April and May are good for a summer break. Pachmarhi stays much cooler than the land around it.
- July to September is very green. But some places may close, and trains can be late.
Travel Tips for Trivandrum Travellers
- Bring a sweater in winter. Nights in December and January are much colder than in Kerala.
- Book the Kerala Express early. It is a very busy train.
- Carry snacks for the train. Most food in Pachmarhi is North Indian. Some places have idli and dosa.
